Have you seen it? The water&rsquo;s high and foamy and you might rather imagine his &lsquo;pellucid&rsquo; waters turned to fast-gushing stout, complete with creamy, frothing head. Doubtless it would be fine for those who enjoy white-water rafting. In July, as I walked towards the footbridge near the bing in Waterside, I heard a strange chirping noise over at the water. Sure enough I was lucky to catch a quick glimpse of 2 small otters, running for cover.Recently in September, another couple of locals said they saw 2 otters (perhaps the same ones) further downstream in the grassy area away from the footpath. keep an eye out folks and report it if you can!
